On Friday the 30th February, JHSG made their final defibrillator in schools donation.
D’Hautree House School was the thirty third school to receive an AED.
Mike Strong introduced Jane Allan from St John’s Ambulance. Jane then gave a demonstration to the teachers and pupils on a training module. Also, a short film showing a mini Vinnie Jones version of how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the tune of the Bee Gees classic “Staying Alive” was screened.
Following a questions and answers session, Mike presented the defibrillator to Angie Dempster, a qualified First Aider at the school.
